IDPs and refugees aid
Background to the launch of the IDP and Refugee Assistance Program.
On June 1, 2022, about 20% of the territory of Ukraine was occupied by the Russian invaders. In territorial equivalent, it is 125 thousand square kilometres. Since the start of a full-scale war, Russia has fired 2,478 ballistic missiles at the territory of Ukraine.
According to the internal affairs services of Ukraine — about 12 million Ukrainians have become IDPs.
Other cities of Ukraine have provided a haven for many of our citizens forced to leave their homes, jobs, all their lives and run away from the war.
The city of Dnipro has become a stronghold for migrants from eastern Ukraine, especially cities such as Mariupol, Severodonetsk, Kreminna, Popasna, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and many other towns.
Due to the necessity of assisting people who arrived from the hot spots, we implement the Program of Assistance to IDPs and Refugees.
